St. George Parade of Homes

Dennis and I went to the Parade of Homes last week for a few days. We enjoyed beautiful 60* weather with plenty of sunshine as well as 24 of the homes.

It never ceases to amaze me when I go to Southern Utah how magnificent the scenery is.

This was taken in the Santa Clara area of St. George in the lava fields. This picture doesn't do it justice, but this is the backyard of one of the homes we went through.

Farewell to Nolan

We were able to spend an evening with Wayne, Janet and Nolan before Nolan entered the MTC where he will begin his 2 year mission to the Peoria, Illinois. He will be a great missionary and wish him lots of luck.

Look Who's Turning 50!

Dennis was born on Valentine's Day 1960 and celebrates his 50th birthday today.

I've have been so very blessed to have this wonderful man as my husband.

He is a great example to all that know him and our kids have been so blessed to have him as their father.

I'm a big girl now..bomp..bomp!

I couldn't resist on the title, if you don't recognize it - it's from a Pull-ups commercial years ago and has always stuck in my head. Jandie got her real license in the mail last week and we opened up a checking account for her now that she's working and has grown-up expenses like car insurance, gas and a cell phone. Her debit card came last week also and she's feeling like a BIG girl now!
